Lava Fields, Gingolx, Prince Rupert then home

This lava bed, located 100km or so north of Terrace BC, created a scar in the forest that flowed for kilometers. The entire area look similar to this photo. Kananaskis Hike near Bragg Creek 2019

A fall walk in the foot hills just outside of Calgary in Southern Alberta. The aspen stands, which had yet to change to their fall golden colour, crowded the path like zebras enveloping a pride of lions. Whiskey jacks and downy wood peckers flitted amongst their branches and the lodgepole pines. Elvie amongst the aspens. Ruins Colour is everywhere. Houseboating on the Shouswap BC Provincial Parks

Last week in August 2018, the house boat called out of Sicomous on the Shuswap in BC, There were 7 of us, easily accommodated by the boat which can accommodate 12 squeezed in. The weather was a little smokey, but would have been worse had it not rained for a couple of days. Ryan in repose Moss covered the forest floor like a carpet. This was a botanist's dream. Sabrina enjoying a stroll Ryan Andres and Mia walking the beach. They picked up garbage they found along the way as part of their contribution. It is a shame that garbage can be found on these otherwise pristine beaches. Our house boat. We had plenty of time to enjoy the ambiance. The visionaries. The final rays of light Ryan in repose 2.
