A fall walk in the foot hills just outside of Calgary in Southern Alberta. The aspen stands, which had yet to change to their fall golden colour, crowded the path like zebras enveloping a pride of lions. Whiskey jacks and downy wood peckers flitted amongst their branches and the lodgepole pines.
