Spruce Meadows is a horse jumping facility that hosts a number of events through the year. Last weekend they held an international jumping competition.
For an international sporting event, I was amazed that the grounds are open to the general public at no cost. Seating in the grand stands was by paid ticket though.

The Brits were also impressive. Prior to seeing these photos, I hod not realized that the hooves had spikes. They can be seen on the second Brit photo.

Not everyone fared well. Here is a sequence that ended the competition for the team.
Kids became bored. On the grounds, but away from the arena, a dog jumping competition was also underway.
