South of Peter Lougheed Provincial Park there are a number of wild area access points. The Trout Ponds is one such access. The path takes you down a steep hill to the beaver created ponds below, then along the edge of the ponds. A few creaks must be forded along the way.
An ideal spot for a break.
Smoke and mirrors.
A piper stopped by.
Mountain sheep frequent the area.
Old stump provided an ideal growth area. Reminded me of the hats worn by royalty.
Beaver dam.
Parting shot.
