Sheep River Alberta Canada

My last chance to see the fall colour along the sheep river in Alberta's Kananaskis wild areas.  A few photos along the road way coming in from Turner Valley capture some of the colour and wildlife.

Strategic lookouts, like Bighorn, provide great vistas

Indian Oils waterfalls is accessed by a forestry road and a recently reconstructed bridge, replacing the original one that was destroyed by the 2013 floods.

The view down the river.  Two young women, hiking with their children in carriers on there backs, can be seeing viewing the valley.

Two groups of mountain sheep were in the valley below the Bighorn lookout.  The males were loitering, enjoying the last of the year's heat.
